The People’s Forum

THE PEOPLE’S FORUM: If you’re still wondering whom to vote for in the race for Santa Barbara City Council, we’ve got the perfect nonpartisan, all-access event for you — The People’s Forum, a live and interactive debate streaming over the Internet and into your home. All candidates have been invited to participate on Wednesday, October 19, 7-9 p.m., and everyone in town is able to tune in for free and ask questions via an online chat board about any civic issue of concern. The forum is cosponsored by CaliforniaStreamin.com, the Citizens Planning Association, and The Santa Barbara Independent. Tune into CaliforniaStreamin.com or independent.com on October 19 to see 21st-century participatory democracy at its finest.
