At the 4th Annual Surf Fest and Swap Meet this weekend, guests can recycle used surfboards, wetsuits, and related items for a small fee, and check out new and used surf gear, jewelry, clothing, and artwork, enjoy live music, and more. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the SBCC parking lot adjacent to Leadbetter Beach on Shoreline Drive. Proceeds benefit SBCC women’s basketball. 7 The S.B. Charter School Annual Fall Carnival will feature games, live music, bounce houses, foods, and more. The carnival, to be held this Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Charter School campus (6100 Stow Canyon Rd., Goleta), will benefit education and arts programs at the school.
