S.B. Maritime Museum Recruiting New Volunteers for Upcoming Docent Training Program


The S.B. Maritime Museum (SBMM) will launch its 10-week volunteer docent training program this Tuesday, September 13, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. During the training sessions, volunteers will learn about area maritime history, culture, and life to prepare to act as ongoing docents at the SBMM (113 Harbor Wy.). The classes will be held every Tuesday until November 15, in addition to two Wednesday sessions, on October 12 and November 2.
