IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival has announced Michael Douglas as the 2011 recipient of the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. The UCSB alum will accept his award at the Four Seasons Biltmore on Thursday, October 13.

Laguna Blanca alum (and current Stanford student) Jackie Rotman was recently named one of Glamour magazine’s Top Ten College Women for 2011. The competition, in its 54th year, recognizes women across the country for their achievements in campus leadership, scholastics, community involvement, and personal goals.
