FEIST Live with Special Guests / New Vignette

With Feist's new album Metals (Cherrytree/Interscope) on the verge of its October 4th release, fans will have the opportunity to see her first official live performance October 8 at Toronto's Glenn Gould Studio.

Feist will debut the new album and be joined by special guest appearances from some of her past collaborators, including Mocky, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Ed Droste (Grizzly Bear), Bry Webb (The Constantines), Doug Paisley, Joel Gibb and more

Portions of the concert will be broadcast during Canadian Broadcast Corporation’s 75th anniversary celebrations November 2nd.

In addition Feist releases a little vignette for “Get It Wrong, Get It Right,” the closing song off the album. If this beauty doesn’t warm your soul then you are not human. Recorded in a converted barn on a farm in Big Sur, CA, the vignette visits some of the kids on the farm: baby goats!

Go to for information on how to pre-order the album on amazon or itunes or get the e-single “How Come You Never Go There.”

On October 4, Feist returns with her highly anticipated new album, Metals (Cherrytree/Interscope). It’s the follow-up to her 2007 breakout The Reminder, which earned her four Grammy nominations, six Juno wins and the opportunity to teach Muppets to count on Sesame Street. Recorded in Big Sur, California and co-produced by Feist and longtime collaborators Chilly Gonzales and Mocky, as well as newcomer Valgeir Sigurðsson (Bjork, Bonnie “Prince” Billy).
