The huge empty space where Borders used to be in the Camino Real Marketplace shopping center will soon be filled. Within the last three months, ULTA Cosmetics and Pier 1 Imports both signed leases and will open up new stores in that location.
ULTA will hold a grand opening event on April 27 at 9 a.m. Pier 1 will open in June. Mark Linehan, owner of the shopping center, is also bringing in a BevMo beer, wine, and liquor megastore, also scheduled to open in June. BevMo will be located across from Best Buy, next to Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.

We really need more liquor stores around I.V. -- NOT! Where's good common sense? It was sold for the almighty dollar.

there is already a Costco in that lot so the cheap drink argument is moot.
