Choreographers take note: The Santa Barbara Dance Alliance has a new vision for BASSH, its annual social dance showcase. They’re calling for professional artists to create new works that blend dance genres — think hip-hop en pointe or aerial capoeira. Applications are due February 22. BASSHup! takes place April 12. For more information, call 966-6950 or visit sbdancealliance.org.
