Solar System Night at the Goleta Library

All Ages Invited to Star-Gaze and Learn

All ages are welcome to enjoy a fun slide show about planets, followed by viewing the night sky through telescopes on Tuesday, March 6 at the Goleta Library, 500 N. Fairview Avenue in Goleta.

The slide presentation by the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit, in partnership with the Goleta Library, begins at 6:30pm. At 7:00, weather permitting, the Earth’s moon, plus the planets Venus, Mars and Jupiter, and Jupiter’s four brightest moons will be visible through the telescopes provided courtesy of the SB Astronomical Unit.

No advance sign-up is necessary. All library programs are free and open to the public. For more information call the Goleta Library at 805-964-7878.
