Looking Good Santa Barbara’s 8th Annual Spirit of Service Awards

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to keep our seaside town waste-free and shining? Looking Good Santa Barbara is in the process of gathering nominees for its annual Spirit of Service Awards, so now is the time to submit the name of your do-good neighbor. The Spirit award “honors those in the community who further the mission of Looking Good Santa Barbara by reducing waste (reduce, reuse, and recycle) and contributing to a clean community through graffiti and litter abatement.” Categories include outstanding neighbor, business, and educator. Mayor Helene Schneider will present the awards Thursday, May 10, at a luncheon. For a nomination form, visit LookingGoodSB.com. Nomination deadline is Friday, March 9. For more information, call 448-0886.
