… and vegetables! After more than four years of planning, on Wednesday, February 29, the brand-new, state-of-the-art professional teaching kitchen at Carpinteria High School (4810 Foothill Rd.) will open its doors to the community. Culinary arts students and guest chefs will be on hand to lead tours and serve snacks, while Superintendent Paul Cordeiro will discuss the district’s plan to develop programs, including adult cooking classes and nutrition workshops. Call (805) 566-1615 for info.
