Detectives with the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s office are seeking anyone with information regarding possible victims of a former youth soccer coach who is already charged with child molestation.
Terence Stevens, 52, was a soccer coach in the Lompoc area in the 1980s when he allegedly molested several juvenile players. Two victims, now adults, have come forward about their victimization by Stevens during this period.
Stevens moved to the San Diego area in the mid 1990s. He was arrested and convicted in 2008 for sexual conduct with a minor while visiting Yuma, Arizona. Stevens is serving a prison sentence there.
Stevens was extradited last August to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office, answering to local charges from the 1980s. He now faces 17 counts of lewd acts with a child, oral copulation of a minor, and sodomy with a minor, all related to the two Lompoc victims.
If you or anyone you know has information regarding additional victims of Terence Stevens, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office ask that you please contact the Detective Bureau at (805) 934-6170 or the Sheriff’s anonymous tip line at (805) 681-4171.
