The late Esther Lavin Berger donated her jewelry collection of over 1,000 fine, hand-made, vintage, and eclectic pieces, valued at $10,000 in its entirety, to Hospice of Santa Barbara. All proceeds will benefit Hospice of Santa Barbara and the services and programs it contributes to the Santa Barbara community. The event will take place on the front lawn of Hospice of Santa Barbara at 2050 Alameda Padre Serra. Admission is free.

Santa Barbara resident Esther Lavin Berger developed a passion for jewelry making and collecting. Upon her death in 2011, she bequeathed her entire collection of jewelry to Hospice of Santa Barbara. Esther’s generous contribution positively impacts Hospice of Santa Barbara – it is contributions like Esther’s that allow the nonprofit to continue providing its services to more than 500 patients, including adults, teens, and children.

Hospice of Santa Barbara “volunteers” its free professional counseling and care management services to more than 500 people every month, including nearly 100 children, who are experiencing the impact of a life-threatening illness, or grieving the death of a loved one.
