Henna Hand Decoration Workshop for Teens

Goleta Library to Offer Class on Artful Hand Staining

Teens are invited to a workshop on the ancient art of henna hand painting at the Goleta Library on Saturday, June 9, from 3:00 to 4:00pm.

Students can choose the designs they want and workshop leaders will paint them on using real henna. The designs will last at least a week, depending on teen maintenance. Traditional designs will be used.

The Goleta Library is located at 500 North Fairview Avenue, Goleta. Saturday, June 9 is also the first day to sign up for the kids or teen Summer Reading Program, which runs through July 31. For more information, call the Library at 805-964-7878 and ask for Allison Gray.

For a complete list of library programs and locations, visit the Santa Barbara Public Library System’s web site. All Library programs are FREE and open to the public.
