Thursday, June 7, 2012

The Santa Barbara high schools are graduating a combined 1,435 students. La Cuesta’s ceremony took place yesterday at the Courthouse Sunken Garden while the three high schools are holding ceremonies today at their football stadiums. Along with the students, 59 employees will be moving on from the district — retiring to be exact. The longest-serving employee of the bunch is Santa Barbara High custodian Ramon Trujillo, who has worked in the district since 1972.
