Los Padres Names New S.B. Fire Management Officer

Los Padres National Forest officials announced last week the selection of Mark von Tillow as the Santa Barbara District’s fire management officer. He succeeds Dana D’Andrea, who retired last fall. A Santa Ynez valley resident and battalion chief for the last decade, von Tillow began his career with the Tahoe National Forest in 1986 and took a job with Los Padres the next year, working with engines, Hotshot crews, and helicopter units during the last 26 years.
