Maldonado To Post 2011 Tax Returns

Republican congressional candidate Abel Maldonado, responding to a challenge from Democratic Rep. Lois Capps to make public all his federal tax returns while he has held public office, said he will post his 2011 returns. Capps’s campaign has harped on Maldonado’s dispute with the IRS over $4 million in unpaid taxes, and Capps earlier this week posted on her website her tax returns dating back to 1998. The two are squaring off in the newly drawn 24th Congressional District.
