Maybe I overlooked it, but I could not find any coverage in your [recent] issue about the seismic shift in Wisconsin politics caused by the failure of the recall of Governor Walker.

Maybe it is not directly affecting California, but that is precisely the bold action we need here to stop the slide of our state into the financial abyss.

But as San Jose and San Diego voters have shown, we can do something to stop the hemorrhage of tax dollars going to excessive public employee pensions and compensation often far above what private employers pay for comparable work.

It is high time we got the ball rolling locally. Pensions that gobble up a third or more of the general funds of the city as well as the county are simply unsustainable!

Why don’t you report on this critical issue?

Or is it not politically correct to do so?
