Full Stop

Has anyone else noticed that the new cars do not seem to fully stop at stop signs? Only one block from Santa Barbara Junior High, parents hauling their young’uns to school are continuously not stopping. By teaching the kids that this is normal, the problem can only get worse. Race car driver Doug Herbert has started B.R.A.K.E.S., an organization that teaches teenagers about safe driving. Champion drivers John Force and his daughter Ashley are currently on TV commercials, promoting safe driving by encouraging parents to pass good driving traits on to their kids.

This all happens on a local and personal basis. It shouldn’t take a cop to fix the problem, but it will.
