The growth is slightly better than the third quarter revenue projections which estimated 6% growth for the remaining months of the fiscal year. The continued growth was particularly encouraging because April 2012 had two fewer weekend days than April 2011, and TOT in April 2011 grew 10.8%.

$11.1 million in TOT has been collected fiscal year-to-date, which is 9.7% above the same period last year. With only two months remaining in the fiscal year, TOT is expected to be $491,000 above the amended budget by year end.
