Dos Pueblos Among Nation’s Top High Schools

Dos Pueblos High School is garnering national attention for its academic success. The Goleta school checked in at 597 on Newsweek’s list of top 1,000 high schools and 671 on U.S. News & World Report’s list of best high schools. Such rankings are based on data like graduation rates, college-acceptance rates, state proficiency test performance, and IB (international baccalaureate) and AP (advanced placement) exam results. The Newsweek ranking was focused on data from the 2010-11 school year while U.S. News looked at 2009-10.
