Thirty billionaires — including Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, and Elon Musk — gathered at the Bacara Resort on May 9, The Economist reported. They met to discuss The Giving Pledge, a pact signed by 81 one-percenters to give away half their wealth to philanthropy. Among the topics of conversation were “impact investing,” which aims at making money while doing good. This is the second such meeting of billionaires. The first meeting was in Tucson last year.
