Boat Overturns on Highway, Blocks Traffic

Pickup Truck Hauling 30-Foot Vessel Also Flips

A pickup truck hauling a 30-foot boat on northbound Highway 101 near the El Sueno Road exit hit the center divider at around 2 p.m., and both truck and boat overturned.

Two of the highway’s three northbound lanes are currently blocked by emergency responders, and it’s “going to be awhile” before they reopen, according the CHP’s incident report website.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured in the accident. The California Highway Patrol report states the truck may have been cut off by another vehicle.
