Seize the Moment

Dear President Obama,

Congratulations on your re-election! You have much to be proud of and we all can celebrate. But now the real work begins. Green jobs! This is the moment to rally all of the American people to your original campaign promise of green jobs, which is still the best win-win vision for our country.

We can put millions of Americans to work on jobs from high-tech research and development to manufacturing and construction.

We put people to work. We create energy sustainability and energy independence. We innovate and spin-off technology to new sectors. We meet the challenge and urgency of climate change head on. In short, we invest in the future of our people, our country, and our planet.

Your campaign was a brilliant and effective masterpiece of mobilization. Can you now turn that mobilization to a single focused effort for green jobs? Call for rallies in every major city to turn people out by the millions – a force that will push aside all obstacles to getting this vision to be a reality.

Can you do this? This is the time! Seize this moment!
