Tales of the Weird and Unexplained in S.B.
Do you have a cranky spirit living in your house? The Santa Barbara Independent is looking for accounts of encounters of the ghostly kind in our fair city. If you’ve heard things that go bump in the night, laughter, screams, or voices echoing down your hall when no one is there or seen objects move seemingly on their own accord, we want to know about it. In 300 words or fewer, tell us the what (or who) and where (in Santa Barbara) of your haunting experience. If you’re uncertain how to begin, try, “It was a dark and stormy night …” We will select the creepiest true tale for publication in our Halloween issue (Oct. 25).
