Iron Chef Cat Cora to Judge the 3rd Annual S.B. Chowder Fest

The 3rd Annual Santa Barbara Chowder Fest will be a feast for seafood aficionados — and fans of Iron Chef: The festival, a benefit for the Legal Aid Foundation, has lined up area food hero Cat Cora as judge.

As the first and only female Iron Chef, Cora was recently inducted into the American Academy of Chefs Culinary Hall of Fame, and with her culinary expertise at the judges’ table, contestants — some of S.B.’s best restaurants — will be looking to impress with delicious and creative chowders. Montecito Country Club, Sunday, October 28, from noon-4 p.m. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased online at sbchowderfest.com.
