After two delays last month blamed on instrumentation issues, Vandenberg Air Force Base has scheduled the launch of an Atlas V rocket carrying a national security payload for September 13. Final testing Tuesday at the base’s Mission Flight Control Center (MFCC) showed all systems are go, and Vandenberg officials said the teams worked hard to identify, test, and restore the MFCC to full working order.
