Spectacular cars including a 1966 Shelby Cobra, a 1930 Blue Deuce Coup, a 1928 Pierce Arrow 81 Cabriolet and other special cars will be featured. The most rare and unique cars of Montecito and Santa Barbara County will be displayed along the 1100-1200 Coast Village Road frontage parking areas. The public is invited to this free event. Visitor transportation from parking areas along Coast Village Circle will be provided free of charge by the Santa Barbara Trolley.

To kick-off the day, there will be an Opening Ceremony at 8:00 am featuring Special Olympics Athletes on Parade. The Awards Ceremony at 1:30 pm recognizes the People’s Choice and Special Olympics Athlete’s Choice Awards.

Dolores Morelli Johnson and Monika Draggoo serve as Co-Chairs of the Coast Village Classic Car Show, working with committee members and community advisors: Dana Newquist, Monte Wilson, Orwin Middleton, Erin Graffy, Dan Hogan, Tara Stoker, Priscilla, and Judy Heslin.

Dolores Morelli Johnson explains,”This new show will be very exciting for car enthusiasts, and we have already formed partnerships with The Porsche Club of Santa Barbara, the Antique Auto Club of America, and Santa Barbara Cars and Coffee who will be on hand to welcome car owners and visitors, along with the stars of our Special Olympic Athletes.”

Johnson notes the Coast Village Road location make it enjoyable for visitors to peruse Coast Village shops and restaurants.

The Coast Village Classic Car Show proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Santa Barbara, which provides life-changing opportunities for more than 400 Santa Barbara area children, teens and adults with intellectual disabilities to train and compete in sports throughout the year.
