54 DUI Arrests Made in August

S.B. police in August made 54 DUI arrests. Here are a few of those cases highlighted in a press release: Christian Loversky, 21, was arrested August 2 after he drove the wrong way down a parking lane in City Lot 11 and almost collided with a police sergeant; breathalyzer readings showed he was well over the limit. On August 21, Abel Santamaria stopped at a stop sign for several minutes then swerved along Castillo Street, prompting a concerned citizen to call 9-1-1; he provided a blood sample that registered a blood alcohol content of 0.28.
