Wine Tastings, Beer Bashes, Harvest Parties

ROOFTOP SIPS: The Canary’s summer rooftop tastings on Monday afternoons in downtown Santa Barbara are winding down, but there’s still time to sip wine with endless views, including an end-of-series bash featuring all of the nearly 20 wineries featured throughout the season. Coming up are Ampelos Vineyard on September 24, Brander Vineyard on October 1, Grassini Family Vineyards on October 8, and then the full finale lineup on October 15. Every Monday, 5:30-8 p.m., at Perch atop the Canary Hotel. See canarysantabarbara.com.

BEAVER MOON: Oreana Winery hosts the seventh annual Beaver Moon Party in the Funk Zone on Saturday, September 29, 6-10 p.m., with food trucks, $5 wines, and music by Spencer the Gardener to celebrate the harvest season. See oreanawinery.com.

BUELLTON BEER BASH: Oktoberfest comes to the Santa Ynez Valley on Saturday, October 27, 2-6 p.m., with the Bruegala Buellton, a party at River View Park sponsored by Valley Brewers and Figueroa Mountain Brewing with lots of beer, food, and music, plus a pro-am brewing competition. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at door. See bruegalabuellton.com.
