The silent auction will benefit the Foodbank of Santa Barbara’s Kids’ Farmer’s Market Program. Though the “Arts of the Palette” event will take place Wednesday, October 3, interested parties can begin placing bids starting Saturday, September 29th at 10:00am. Those interested in seeing the art collection can stop by the Spanish Garden Inn during regular business hours.

A Food and Wine silent auction will be held the night of the “Arts of the Palette” event in addition to spot raffles throughout the night. Featured artists include: Elle Yeomans, Cathy Quiel, Susan Belloni, Margaret Nadeau, Rich Untermann, Roger Dawson, Fritz Phinney, Ken Pfeiffer, Ron Freese.

Tickets to the October 3 event which will take place from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Spanish Garden Inn are still available. Tickets are $65 and must be purchased in advance. Call the Spanish Garden Inn at (805) 564-4700 to purchase tickets by phone.

The Kids’ Farmer’s Market Program is an interactive approach to improving the long-term health of low-income children in Santa Barbara County. The Kids’ Farmer’s Market Program provides fresh produce and nutrition education to low-income children at various locations countywide each month. The program encourages active, healthy living and connects low-income children with nutrition education and a reliable, year-round produce source.
