Goleta Man Arrested for Dealing Cocaine

Narcotics Detectives with Sheriff’s Department Wrap Up Two-Month Investigation

After a two-month investigation, drug detectives with with Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department arrested 37-year-old Armando Trejo on Thursday on a charge of possessing cocaine for sale. According to Sheriff’s spokesperson Kelly Hoover, detectives and Goleta patrol deputies pulled Trejo over in the area of Calle Real and North Kellogg Avenue, then issued a search warrant on his house on Valdez Avenue. There they found approximately 2.5 ounces of cocaine with a street value of more than $7,000. Also, “Money consistent with drug sales was seized along with a digital scale and packaging materials,” Hoover said. Trejo was arrested and booked into County Jail with bail set at $30,000.

Idea! What if we stopped the government from telling us what we can and cannot put into our bodies and give people the freedom of their own body? Hmm there's an idea! These "criminals" aren't criminals. War on drugs is not, has not, and will never work.

Something is wrong here, Muggy has made three posts and Binky has not counter-posted with an argument. On a serious note though, I think Binky would probably agree with Muggy, myself, and many others that this "War on Drugs" crapola is not only a waste of time and resources, but a good way to destroy lives.
