Hi Time Stop & Shop Burned Out in Early Morning Fire

Firefighters Quickly Knocked Down Blaze; Investigators Still Determining Cause


Crews with Santa Barbara’s city and county fire departments responded to Hi Time Stop & Shop at 76 El Sueno Road early Friday morning to find the convenience store engulfed in flames. The call went out at 1:15 a.m., and the fire, contained to just the store, was knocked down by 1:45 a.m. No one was inside and no injuries were reported, said County Fire’s Captain David Sadecki. Investigators are still working to determined what caused the fire.
