A Berry Sweet Valentine’s Day

Bobalu Berries’ Gourmet Strawberries Are the Perfect Gift for Your Sweetie

Roses are expensive, dinner is too; let chocolate-covered strawberries say I love you! So, Valentine’s Day is coming up (don’t shoot the messenger, please), and if you haven’t given the question of what to get your sweetie — or yourself — an ounce of thought yet, never fear: Bobalu Berries, a family farm network based in Oxnard, has you covered. Or dipped, as the case may be. Their hand-picked, hand-dipped, farm-fresh, chocolate-covered strawberries will be on their way within 24 hours of being picked from the farm. Dipped in dark or white chocolate and further bedecked with chocolate drizzle, chocolate chips, coconut, toffee, or almonds, they are a serious treat destined to make anyone swoon. Full disclosure: Bobalu delivered a box of the goodies to me recently; I ate one and spent several hours guiltily hiding the box behind my desk, hoping no one would notice … It was eventually spotted (alas), so, busted, I shared the rest with my coworkers. The treats disappeared within approximately two minutes.
