Early Reports Indicate Victim Was Transient


An unidentified male in his fifties was stabbed multiple times and is dead, according to communications being circulated throughout City Hall by Police Chief Cam Sanchez and City Administrator Jim Armstrong. The man’s body was found in the 900 block of Santa Barbara Street between 11 p.m. and midnight on Tuesday.

Early reports indicate that the stabbing was not gang-related and that the victim may have been a transient.
