This multi-vintage mix of 43 percent syrah, 34 percent grenache, 13 percent cabernet sauvignon, 7 percent mourvedre, and 3 percent viognier is what happens when some of the greatest winemakers in Santa Barbara County get together to make a benefit blend for the Santa Ynez Valley Family School, where their kids or grandkids have been students over the years.

Altogether, that’s 150 years of combined winemaking experience in one bottle, available in a 12-pack case for a $500 donation, which can be reserved by calling (805) 688-5440, emailing office@syvfamilyschool.org, or attending the Bounty of the Valley Dinner this Saturday, March 9, at the Alisal Resort outside of Solvang.
