A two-story residential building at 720 Ribera Drive in Goleta erupted in flames early Monday morning.

The County Fire Department responded at 4:03 a.m. to find “heavy fire” showing from the front of the home in the garage area. The blaze quickly spread to the second floor, but firefighters got it under control by 4:48 a.m.
