Santa Barbara police made no arrests nor have released any new information regarding the 2/19 shooting death of 21-year-old Ventura resident Kelly Hunt near the rear entrance of Santa Barbara High School on Carrillo Street. Hunt — a member of the Crazy Wino gang in Ventura — was well known to Ventura law enforcement authorities. His shooting has ignited a subdued storm of speculation whether his slaying was an intentional execution or just a case of the wrong person being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

When Gangs are involved, anything can and will happen. Remember, Gang Members who have families are gang brought up and continue to protect, support and recruit for the gangs even with their own children as potential members, they may not be speaking to Police or press but their planning the retaliation of that gang who took one of their own, just wait for the next big shoot-out or mass stabbing to hit, then count the bodies....
