St. Paddy’s Bus Crawl

Jump On the School Bus for a Day of Drink

Throwing back some drink is a grand — and popular — way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. And Jump On the School Bus (JOTSB) — a converted retro bus replete with 1000-watt sound system — is available to help you achieve your goal of getting legless (drunk). On Sunday, March 17, JOTSB will shuttle some 50-odd revelers to varying area pubs to imbibe in proper fashion. The day begins at 11 a.m. at the Nugget in Summerland, then heads to the James Joyce, followed by Cold Spring Tavern. In the afternoon, folks are dropped at The Santa Barbara Independent to join the annual St. Patrick’s Day Stroll down State Street. Meet up at Dargan’s by 7 p.m. for a ride back to your pick-up location. Tickets are $25 per person. Make reservations for one or two people online at Jump on the Schoolbus. For larger parties, call Darin at (805) 331-2301.
