Guides tell passengers about the route’s natural, cultural, and historical significance, as well as things to do at the destinations. There are two programs to choose from: a one-day Santa Barbara–San Luis Obispo round-trip, or a two-day trip to San Jose. Volunteers must be able to make an average of two one-day or two-day trips per month during the program’s eight-month period. Uniforms, program materials, travel, meals, and overnight lodging are all provided. Orientation training is Saturday, May 18. For more info, call (805) 964-3540 or email email@example.com.
