The West Wind Drive-In Theatre in Goleta recently announced it would be the first drive-in on the West Coast to offer digitally projected films. The revamp also comes with a new sound system for the theater that allows films to be heard via an FM signal. For more info and movie times, call (805) 964-9050 or visit

I love going to the west-wind drive-in. You can bring your own food and drinks, sit in the comfort of your own car toking medicinals.. hell, I even bring my small dog (technically against the rules I think, but if you keep them in your car who is going to know or care?)

It's a very exciting presence in the SB film scene and one of the few independent venues other than the Plaza in Carp.
