Summer is upon us, and that means seafood! And, for ambitious home cooks, that equals a whole season of desperately seeking new techniques. The folks at Julienne get it, and so, on Monday, June 3, they’ll host another installment of their cooking class series, this one focused on seafood. You’ll learn how to select, butcher, and cook goodies-of-the-sea, all in the context of a glorious menu: Jerked octopus with white bean purée and cucumber salad; steamed mussels with lamb sausage and white-wine fennel broth; and local king salmon with corn succotash and pasilla pepper sauce. The kicker is that, in addition to learning how to prepare those mouthwatering dishes, you’ll be eating them, too. Tickets include dinner, recipes, and instruction. Booze is available for purchase or you can BYOB. Space is limited, so get on it.
