See whatcha get for being just another face in the crowd? I mean I had so wanted over the years to see O as her earlier counterpart in business and influence, Sarah Breedlove, who went on to fame in commerce as Madame C. J. Walker and breaking fresh business ground at a very difficult time in American history for women of any color but more so for a woman of color.. For example, legend has it that Breedlove's Westchester County mansion (something as equally unusual as O's mansion in exclusive Montecito) was the social scene of many a party attended by many notables from the national and international set, something socially unprecedented for the time. Breedlove's success story has so many other parallels to O's life that I've always been amazed that it did not occur to any in O's entourage to raise the doability of such a project. After all, what do we have here central the mix? The stunning rise, de profundis, of two high achieving women of color!

Hey, falsely/wrongly blaming some Swedish "white" chick of allegedly not selling her a $35k handbag because "she didn't look like she could afford it" & using it as a racist ploy to get attention for Trayvon's cause also gets you places. In my case it is bottom of the heap where racists & liars belong. ROCK ON O!

There are many high rollers from Africa shopping in Switzerland these days. And entourages of women from African oil producing nations regularly are seen about Switzerland shopping, their husbands executing business matters at Credit Suisse. In fact, the latest economic reports I've mulled over seem to suggest that an Angolan woman has quite a few more dollars than O. Then again, while working the Christmas sale season at J. W. Robinson in Beverly Hills, I was careful not to make value judgments on the basis of mere appearance alone. In the Swiss matter you refer to, the world of appearances was deceiving, wasn't it? So I think I'd have handled the matter differently and with tact. But for now, I prefer to let sleeping dogs lie..
