Central Coast McDonald’s restaurants are proud to partner with local elementary and middle schools for McTeacher’s Night, a series of fundraising events that will take place at select McDonald’s restaurants in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Carpinteria and San Luis Obispo beginning October 8.

At McTeacher’s Night, educators and administrators raise money for their schools by working at local McDonald’s restaurants taking food orders, greeting customers, and assisting with food preparation. By dining at the restaurant during the event, students, families and community members support their school of choice and a portion of the proceeds are donated directly back to the school.

“We look forward to hosting these fundraising events each year,” stated Dana Cook, Central Coast McDonald’s Co-Op President. “Education is a vital component of children’s lives and our educators often go above and beyond teaching the fundamentals. Through McTeacher’s Night events, we are able to help them raise needed funds for their schools and give back to the community. We hope that everyone is able to come out and enjoy a great meal while donating to their school!”

McTeacher’s Night events will take place throughout the Central Coast during October. For more information about these fundraising events in your area, please call 602-462-2260.

Central Coast McDonald’s recognizes and supports the dedication educators give to our children and our schools. To date, Central Coast McDonald’s restaurants have raised over $100,000 for schools through McTeacher’s Nights events. In addition to hosting McTeacher’s Night each year to fundraise for local schools, McDonald’s has also partnered with the California State PTA in its mission to improve the education and well-being of all children and youth.
