Never Forget

The “9/11: Never Forget Project” took place at East Beach on Tuesday. It was established by the Young America’s Foundation as an American flag memorial in which 2,977 American flags are displayed, representing the 2,977 persons killed in the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. The flag project has become an annual national event and includes participation by groups from UCSB, UCLA, and UCSD.
