Hello Gorgeous Models

The beautiful people of Santa Barbara have (another) reason to celebrate, as Hello Gorgeous Models announced their entrance to the area fashion and arts scene with a ribbon cutting in front of their new office in the heart of Montecito.

Founded by former-model/actress and Santa Barbaran Shannon Loar-Coté, Hello Gorgeous Models was conceived with the hope of addressing the absence of an area talent and model agency, an issue that Loar-Coté had repeatedly noticed over the course of five years.

“Almost all of our models are local,” said Loar-Coté. “I want to provide local talent for people who come into Santa Barbara to shoot.” Not only will Hello Gorgeous give area talent opportunities, “It will save producers the added cost of bringing people in from elsewhere,” she added.

Ninety percent of the Hello Gorgeous’ roster (now 35 strong) are from the Santa Barbara-area, with varying levels of experience. Some members of the team sang for the crowd assembled, while others performed dance numbers and others still-posed for photos with various patrons on the red carpet.
