Chandra Wallar Eyes Oxnard

According to the City of Oxnard, former Santa Barbara County CEO Chandra Wallar is one of two candidates for the next Oxnard City Manager; in December, she was a finalist for city manager of Dallas, Texas. Wallar was hired by the county in 2010 but her term ended in October 2013 when her contract wasn’t renewed after the supervisors discovered she had applied for the same position in Orange County. Wallar is battling the current Modesto city manager for the Oxnard position.
