John Kelley’s excellent Voice “The Climate’s a-Gonna Change” did a great job explaining all the details of a carbon tax and the need for congressional legislation.

The IPCC report confirms that climate change is progressing faster than scientists had predicted, and we must accelerate our efforts to end our use of fossil fuels. The only way to energize Americans to become more energy efficient and to switch to renewables is to motivate them with money.

Currently, fossil fuel pollution is allowed for free. If we charge a fossil fuel pollution tax (aka a carbon tax), people will rush to lower their emissions and save money.

Please endorse carbon tax legislation and make sure it is an issue discussed as part of this year’s congressional election campaigning.

...except for the sheep that come pre-programmed (or is it drone sheep now by remote control?), like redbunz.

Thanks for blanketing online papers across the country with your doom-and-gloom blow out.

The IPCC also confirmed that many of their former predictions did not come true or will not until much farther in the future than they modeled in the past.

That's a good reason to blow up our standard of living and plunge millions of people into poverty.

How about a poop tax. That's carbon, isn't it?

Actually, there should be a dog tax. Dogs have a higher carbon footprint than my pickup.

One of hundreds of IPCC frauds; in general, graphs show alteration of prior year data to create a false impression of warming. This (first) graph shows that IPCC "psyentists" ignored all science and data analysis, and just stuck in a yellow line to satisfy their political agenda to create AGW alarmism. The second graph shows that observed temperatures show global cooling, while IPCC computer models show warming The IPCC gets sleazier by the year, and it's accelerating as more of the best scientists leave due to fraud. Yes, it's time to prosecute the IPCC for fraud.

The UN hype is that developed nations' CO2 emissions creates "climate injustice" that affects third world countries like India. India is no longer associated with the IPCC and has formed an independent climate bureau due to IPCC scams.

Glaciers are growing in California and around the world. The Lyell Glacier in the Sierras isn't growing, but it's been shrinking for around 200 years, unrelated to anthropogenic CO2.

The Association of American Geographers annual meeting was yesterday, and there were many presentations addressing the political issues involved in the AGW movement. The average global temperature has been unchanged over 17 1/2 years.

Your glacier reference is bunk, and there is nothing trustworthy about wattsupwiththat.

"The answer is not only clear but it is definitive and based on the scientific literature. Globally glaciers are losing ice at an extensive rate (Figure 1). There are still situations in which glaciers gain or lose ice more than typical for one region or another but the long term trends are all the same, and about 90% of glaciers are shrinking worldwide (Figure 2). "

The unchanged temperature meme has also been debunked. Ask yourself why the 9 hottest years have been in the last decade, and the top ten hottest years in the period in which temperatures were supposed to be have been unchanged.

It is all about cherry picking to support the untenable anti-AGW nonsense.
