CAGV will conclude the luncheon program with its traditional “Bell Ceremony” held to remember those who have lost loved ones to gun violence. CAGV will toll the bell to honor the memories of those killed at the Goleta post office massacre in 2006. CAGV will also honor the memory of the twenty children and 6 adults killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Any member of the audience who has lost a family member or friend to gun violence is invited to say the name of their loved one and ring the Bell.
