Santa Barbara, CA, April 21, 2014: At Santa Barbara’s Earth Day Festival April 26-27, 2014, Seasons Kids Consignment Sales will launch a new concept for the families of the South Coast. At the Earth Day Festival, Seasons Kids will inform the public about a wonderful opportunity to buy and sell gently used and new children’s items at Earl Warren Show Grounds. The first consignment event is scheduled this Fall: September 12-14th, 2014.

The key goal of these sales is to offer a fun and organized setting to buy and sell gently used baby-to-teen and maternity goods, while also promoting the idea of recycling kid’s items. Seasons Kids wants to encourage families to Reuse and Resell to Reduce the impact that all have on the environment. These seasonal consignment sales promote this lifestyle.

By participating in these sales as a consignor, sellers will be able to free up some much needed space in their homes without adding items to the local landfill. Consignors will also make money to add to their family budget!  Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase gently used, name brand items at a fraction of the cost you typically see in retail stores. Additionally, they can shop for all in one place, saving families time and money.

Everyone wins at Seasons Kids Consignment Sales. Consignors receive up to 75% of the selling price for their items and Seasons Kid’s organizers (two local moms) do all the planning, organizing and marketing.

Seasons Kids sales also benefit several local charities.  Any unsold items that consignors choose not to keep will be donated to charities that serve children in need. A percentage of proceeds will also go to the Teacher’s Fund, which serves to enhance many local children’s education.

Seasons Kids will offer these sales 2 times a year, in the Spring and Fall!  Registration and full details may be found at their website: www.SeasonsKids.com.

Come meet the organizers at Earth Day in the Kid’s Zone Booth #701, Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27 at Alameda Park, Downtown Santa Barbara.
