Exclusive Resorts

Special Accommodations Around the World for Groups

If you’re looking for a vacation spot for a group that requires additional space, even luxury hotels are often challenging. This need can be filled by a private destination club such as Exclusive Resorts, which has a wide variety of locations. It has residences around the world and many at the most popular West Coast destinations.

The Settings

The residences at Exclusive Resorts are all very elegant, and you and your guests will feel spoiled. Every detail of your trip is taken care of by the club’s private staff, which will greet you and even do some preliminary grocery shopping. These units are very well designed to accommodate large families or couples traveling together. A gourmet kitchen and entertainment area serves as the meeting place with each bedroom having the desired privacy.

Golfers Take Notice

In La Quinta, the location is right on the first fairway at the PGA West Greg Norman Course. This 3,100-square-foot villa has three bedrooms along with a great outdoor entertainment area with pool and spa.

In Arizona the club has both Scottsdale and Tucson covered. The Rocks Club close to Pinnacle Peak and Troon North is the base camp in the Valley of the Sun. This is a very upscale collection of residences close to all the great golf nearby in North Scottsdale. The Tucson location is a villa at Arizona’s #1 resort Miraval. While known more for its famous spa, great golf is close by.

On the East Coast you will find Exclusive Resorts at Sea Island on the coast in Georgia. Once again the dwelling is exceptional with detailed craftsmanship like wood-beamed ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. Sea Island is unmatched for its golf offering with three championship, private club, quality courses to choose from. The Seaside layout is home to the PGA Tour each fall and weaves its way back and forth along its riverfront setting. Guests here have access to both the golf and beach club at this famed resort, which hosted the G8 Summit in 2004.

Plenty for Skiers, Too

If you are more prone to the slopes, you will not be disappointed as the mountain offerings would seem like a smorgasbord to the hungry skier. At Tahoe Exclusive Resorts has 13 residences split between Squaw Valley and Northstar. The Resort at Squaw Creek serves as home base for the former and Great Bear Lodge the latter. Summertime visitors will find great golf at both, including Old Greenwood, a Jack Nicklaus signature course.

You name the place, and Exclusive Resorts is there. Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Deer Valley, Telluride, Snowmass, Beaver Creek, Steamboat Springs, and even Whistler. Members will never get bored with this variety and a first-class experience is guaranteed.

Beaches and Cities

If you are looking for warmer water the club has you covered here as well. In Laguna Beach you will find its residences at none other than Montage, while Newport Beach finds the club at The Resort at Pelican Hill. It would be quite a bucket list to visit all of these exotic locations. Mexico is also available with Los Cabos and Real Del Mar.

In Hawaii there are three great choices. Exclusive Resorts offers residences at Hualalai on the Kona Coast. Home to the PGA Champions Tour, Hualalai features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course cut out of the lava fields that ring this seaside resort. On Maui you can choose from Kapalua Bay or Grand Wailea. Boy, do these folks know how to travel.

Finishing off the West Coast are places in San Francisco and Las Vegas. In the “City by the Bay” your home will be the Fairmont Heritage Place at Ghirardelli Square. I could and did spend hours out on the outdoor bay-view terrace next to the fireplace sipping some of the finest from the Napa Valley. The views take in much of the San Francisco Bay, and the Golden Gate Bridge is within walking distance. In Vegas the club’s lodgings are located at the Vdara Hotel & Spa in City Center.

Something More?

Looking for something even more exotic? How about touring South America in a private jet? Tracking rare gorillas in Uganda? Or hiking the fjords of Norway? Europe is well covered, with a choice of England, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Croatia as well. For families or groups, there is no finer way to go than
